Mathematical modeling of ultrashort pulsed laser irradiation in the cornea

چکیده

A simple mathematical model for the temperature evolution in cornea exposed to short-pulsed Ho: YAG laser under Laser Thermo Keratoplasty (LTK) treatment is developed by incorporating heat flux phase-lag Fourier’s transfer and source term described Lambert Beer’s law. An analytical solution obtained using Laplace transformation technique. The computational results profile variation with time are presented through graphs. effect of some typical parameters: phase-lag, convection coefficient thermal conductivity on distribution variations illustrated discussed.
